Serbian Patriarch welcomed Georgian President at St. Sava Cathedral
Serbian Patriarch Porfiry received Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili at the St. Sava Cathedral. Kavelashvili was accompanied by his wife, Tamar Bagrationi, members of the delegation, and Serbia’s First Lady, Tamara Vučić.
According to the presidential administration, His Holiness Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia provided the Georgian delegation with insights into the history of the St. Sava Cathedral and the unique relics housed within.
The Georgian delegation included Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, members of Parliament Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili, and Guram Macharashvili, Georgian Ambassador to Serbia Levan Beridze, and representatives from the Presidential Administration of Georgia.
