Schools serving as polling places will switch to distance learning for week

The Georgian Minister of Education, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, said effective today, schools that are used as polling places, will switch to distance learning for a week.

After elections, all 1 419 schools will be disinfected and then the in-person learning process will resume.

Georgia’s parliamentary elections will be held on October 21, 2020.
