School uniform sales for first-year pupils to take place across Georgia from September 1–14
In the initial phase, school uniform sales for first-year primary pupils will take place nationwide between September 1 and 14. During the second and third phases, sales for Years 2 to 6 pupils will continue from October through December, according to an official statement issued by Educational Resources LLC.
The agency further noted that Mikheil Kuparadze, Director of Educational Resources, visited the ETON KIDD manufacturing facility, where he reviewed the school uniform production process, technology utilised, and quality control mechanisms.
“By way of reminder, the ministry’s Educational Resources LLC launched a market research study for the tailoring of school uniforms, resulting in the selection of Glory Textile Industry, a Chinese company registered in Georgia, as the winning bidder.
To ensure the manufacturing and supply of school uniforms to Georgia, the company partnered with Chinese brand manufacturer Jiangsu SUMEC ETON KIDD Brand Management.
The delivery of school uniforms from China to Georgia will take place in three phases: Phase I – August 25; Phase II – October 15; Phase III – November 30.
