Sandro Bregadze - Georgian March will not allow "And Then We Danced" premier in Georgia

“Georgian March will not allow the movie “And Then We Danced” premier in Georgian cinemas on November 8,” – Sandro Bregadze, one of the leaders of the Georgian March said today.

As Bregadze noted, their main target will be Amirani Cinema. In his words, the film will be protested in Georgian regions as well.

Sandro Bregadze calls on Georgian Orthodox priests to protest the premier and prevent the screening of the film.

“This is not a film of artistic value, it is ordinary gay propaganda, same as Joseph Goebbels shot in Germany. I am talking about fascist propaganda films. This is a striking example of gay propaganda that has no artistic value. This is propaganda of sodomy and foulness. We will not allow the presentation of pornography of sodomy on November 8,” – Sandro Bregadze said.

Swedish-Georgian co-production “And Then We Danced”, has won the Iris Prize Best Feature Award, which is an international LGBT film prize. The feature is directed by Swedish filmmaker Levan Akin and featuring a cast of Georgian actors.
