Salome Zurabishvili: My main message was related to occupied territories
My main message to NATO Secretary General was related to the occupied territories, as the situation at the occupation line has become very grave, – President Salome Zurabishvili said after the meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
“We talked about the open door policy and the approach of NATO to cooperate with Georgia as much as possible, My main message was related to the occupied territories, as the situation at the occupation line and Russia’s actions have become very grave – creeping borders at various places, kidnappings or recent threatening, including in connection with the NATO training” – President said.
Salome Zurabishvili emphasized the peaceful policy of Georgia.
“So we told our partners that we remain committed to our peace plans despite this aggressive policy, but the situation is becoming graver each day”, – Salome Zurabishvili said.
