Salome Zourabichvili: Protest acquires new dimension, serves as powerful weapon called Mzia Amaglobeli

“I tell foreign partners that people rally in streets and Georgians holds mass protests but when these protests have a name, this acquires another new dimension,” said former president Salome Zourabichvili in an interview with Batumelebi media outlet.

According to Salome Zourabichvili, protests have a powerful weapon and this weapon is Mzia Amaglobeli (founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti).

“For us isolation is devastating and unacceptable, we should try our best to preserve and, on the contrary, intensify our relations with foreign partners. The example of Mzia Amaglobeli is significant. These are countries which value individuals.

I tell foreign partners that people rally in the streets and Georgians are holding mass protests but when these protests have a face and name, this acquires another new dimension. We may not fully acknowledge it yet, but this is a very powerful weapon, and this weapon is called Mzia Amaglobeli,” she said.
