Rustaveli Avenue's Burchuladze: October 4 is captured in people's minds; they reclaim power regardless of my presence
“Levan Khabeishvili was among the most active. He relayed all our information to the United National Movement. Murtaz Zodelava, who provided information to the Ahali party, was also involved. Since Levan’s arrest, I have kept the UNM informed about Rustaveli Avenue’s plans,” declared Paata Burchuladze, leader of the Rustaveli Avenue movement, who attended the United National Movement’s political council as a guest.
According to him, everything is going very well, and on October 4, the Georgian people will give the regime a fitting response, with everything finishing on the fourth itself.
“Levan Khabeishvili was among the most active. He relayed all our information to the United National Movement. Murtaz Zodelava, who provided information to the Ahali party, was also involved; he has since been arrested. Representatives from Lelo and Gakharia’s party, who are still with us today, will also be participating. Since Levan’s arrest, I have kept the UNM informed about Rustaveli Avenue’s plans. I will also be holding meetings with other parties. Nothing particularly extraordinary occurred.
Levan was accused of an absurd charge. Under this accusation, Bidzina Ivanishvili should have been arrested long ago, with promises of five million in every village.
Apparently, they want some escalation and came up with explosive substances. Everything is going very well. It’s clear that the regime is absolutely powerless and no longer knows what to do. On October 4, the Georgian people will give them a fitting response, and everything will be finished on the fourth,” declared Paata Burchuladze.
Asked whether he expects imprisonment, Paata Burchuladze says, “anything is possible”.
“Everything’s to be expected, we’ll see. October 4 is already so much captured in people’s minds, they are so angry with this government, that whether I’m there or not, whether it’s someone else, we all already know that on the fourth, people will reclaim power,” declared Paata Burchuladze.
