Russian soldiers detain local of Zardiaantkari village

Russian soldiers detained Gennady Bestaev, local of Zardiaantkari village, Gori Municipality of Shida Kartli region, on charge of having crossed the so-called border illegally.

This the fourth case of Bestaev’s detention. He has already been sentenced to 2-month imprisonment. The man left Tskhinvali isolator 1 week ago.

Bestaev, ethnically Ossetian, lives in proximity to the occupational line with other 8 families. Bestaev did not have the so-called pass to cross and enter onto the occupied territory.
