Representatives of Trade Unions of GPB meet with President’s advisors
Representatives of Trade Unions of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) met with President’s advisors and introduced them with the current situation at the broadcaster, launched optimization and ongoing changes.
Nino Zautashvili, Chairperson of Trade Unions claimed that the broadcaster had to have Labor Code. “There should be a document which would define how many people have to work on different positions and how,” Zautashvili said.
Dodo Shonava, Advisor to Director of News and Current Affairs Bloc underlined that labor policy was important for media organizations since it was linked to editorial independence of mass media outlet.
Ana Natsvlishvili, advisor of president pledged that Presidential Administration would closely observe ongoing processes at GPB.
