Registration of first-graders to commence on March 10

General registration for first graders will commence on March 10 and will continue until July 15. The registration process will proceed in 4 stages.

Parents and legal representatives can complete the registration process on the official website of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) at registration.emis.ge.

Based on the amendment to the Law of Georgia “On General Education”, enforced for the 2024-2025 academic year, children who turn six years old before December 31 will be eligible to register for the first grade.

“The Ministry of Education calls on parents to carefully familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of registration to ensure their child is enrolled in school on time and smoothly,” the Ministry stated.
