Reconciliation Minister holds talks with Turkiye's Deputy Foreign Minister
Georgia’s State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, held discussions with Turkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Berris Ekinci, focusing on the mandate, priorities, and objectives of the State Minister’s Office.
During the meeting, Akhvlediani highlighted the efforts undertaken by the Georgian government to restore trust, promote peace, support ethnic minorities, and strengthen intercultural dialogue.
The two sides underscored the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkiye for maintaining peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
Attending the meeting were Turkiye’s Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbay, and Georgia’s Ambassador to Turkey, Archil Kalandia.
