Public Defender's Envoys to continue meetings with detainees at Foreign Agents bill protests

Envoys of the Public Defender continue to observe the protests against the so-called Foreign Agents bill going on at the parliament building and to hold meetings with the detained protesters, Public Defender Levan Ioseliani’s statement says.

The Public Defender will release the assessment of the March 7-8 developments in the nearest future.

After multiple requests to disassemble, riot police forced demonstrators opposing the approval of the so-called Foreign Agents bills, initiated by the People’s Power movement, out of the vicinity of the Georgian Parliament and Rustaveli Avenue in downtown Tbilisi late last night.
