Protest participants plan to meet President

The anti-transparency bill protest participants marched towards the Atoneli Presidential Palace to meet President Salome Zourabichvili. Protesters said they had the expectation that the President would meet them.

The protesters’ intention is to fix their respect to President Zourabichvili for her latest moves including her stance to veto the bill on Transparency of Foreign Influence and pardon Lazare Grigoriadis, the youth detained during the March 7-9 protests.

The protesters will afterwards relocate to the Government House.
