Prime Minister inaugurates Skillwill Vocational College

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, together with the Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze and the Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, inaugurated the Skillwill Vocational College.

According to the Government Administration, the PM toured the college’s infrastructure and attended a presentation of the college’s development plan delivered by Skillwill’s founder and CEO, Giorgi Mariamidze.

The project is being implemented with co-investment of 18 million USD from the global financial technology platform Tether.

Skillwill College operates in Tbilisi and Batumi, where 1350 students are currently enrolled. The educational process is conducted in five main areas, including software development and computer networks.

Skillwill plans to open 12 colleges across the country, where young people will have the opportunity to acquire skills in strategic fields such as artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies and data engineering.
