Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze handed over flats to 240 IDP families in Zugdidi town of western Samegrelo region.
In his speech, Bakhtadze underlined that the day was emotional though not fully festive. “We will have the reason to celebrate when justice is restored and we return to the places where we deserve to be,” Bakhtadze said.
The Head of the Government underlined that 360 IDP families would receive new flats in 2019. PM also focused on importance of successful implementation of “House in Village” Project.
Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs, Maia Tskitishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Sozar Subari, Minister of IDPs ad Settlement and Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister of Reconciliation and Civil Equity accompanied PM during the visit to Zugdidi.
