Around 70 members and activists quit UNM in Zugdidi

Around 70 members and activists of the United National Movement party in Zugdidi left the party, as announced in a briefing.

Irina Shedania, a member of the Ganmukhuri election staff, spoke on behalf of the group, stating that they are dissatisfied with the working methods of the party’s current leadership.

As a result, they have chosen to leave the UNM and join Nika Melia’s movement.

The briefing also mentioned that several more activists and party members are considering leaving the party.
