Presidents of Georgia, Germany, hold phone talks

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili held a phone conversation with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. 

President Zourbichvili wrote on Twitter that she discussed the war in Ukraine and Georgia’s European integration with her German colleague.  

“As Georgia and Germany celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations, I talked with President Steinmeier this morning. We talked about the war in Ukraine and I thanked him for Germany’s role in Georgia’s accelerated European integration We agreed to meet in the near future,” the Georgian President tweeted.
