Manipulation with information depicting private life must end in Georgia – President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili said in a statement issued on January 29.

President calls on law enforcement bodies to “promptly and efficiently investigate” the information disseminated through social networks yesterday.

“The threat, spread on the Internet, in particular through unidentified web pages, results in significant damage to the society. Therefore, it is crucial to immediately hold an open discussion, through broad public engagement, on this problem,” President Zurabishvili’s statement reads.
