President Salome Zurabishvili has awarded Tamaz Tkemaladze, the chief editor of the broadcasting language of the Georgian First Channel, with the Medal of Honor. He was given the state award for his personal contribution in the fruitful pedagogical and social activities.
The award ceremony was held at the presidential palace and was attended by the friends and colleagues of Tamaz Tkemaladze.
“Your long and interesting career in journalism is an example to young journalists. Today, our country needs journalists like you who know their country, its history and literature, can share their experience to the young generation”, – President said.
