The President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, stated she was ready to visit Ukraine if invited. Speaking to a Ukrainian media outlet, Ukrainskaya Pravda, President Zourabichvili responded to why she has not come to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, unlike many Western leaders.
“I was always ready to come, and today I am ready too. So if you pass on a message, I can come over tomorrow,” Salome Zourabichvili stated.
Responding to a follow-up question of why Zelenskyy did not invite you, the President said: “It is not personal, and I think it is what we have described as not entirely satisfactory relations between government circles at this stage. So, I feel the consequences of that, but again, I am ready, and I am sure we will have that opportunity. I hope that could be the Crimea platform occasion.”
