President praises convening National Security Council meeting

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili welcomes the holding of the National Security Council session.

“Against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the state needs to utilise all the levers at its disposal to address the challenges facing the country, preserve the country’s interests, and promote public peace,” Salome Zourabichvili wrote on Facebook.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili chaired the National Security Council meeting on Friday. The session discussed the key trends and challenges in global and regional security.
