President of Iceland launches official visit in Georgia 

President of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson launched his official visit to Georgia. An official hosting ceremony took place at the Orbeliani Presidential Palace. Presidents of Georgia and Iceland honored state flags and introduced official delegations to each other.

Within the framework of his official visit, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson will hold face-to-face and extended meetings with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili. He will also meet Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.

Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Head of the President’s Administration Natia Sulava hosted the high-ranking guest at the Tbilisi International Airport.
