Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili met Turkiye’s Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbay.
According to the presidential administration, the sides engaged in reviewing the Georgia-Turkiye strategic partnership and prospects for the intensification of bilateral cooperation.
The President and Ambassador focused on the ongoing processes in the South Caucasus and the role of Georgia and Turkiye in promoting stability and peace in the region, accentuating the need to fully utilize and develop the transit and transport potential of the two countries.
President Mikheil Kavelashvili thanked Ali Kaan Orbay for Turkiye’s unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
