President Kavelashvili: Visits to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Türkiye, UN, and Serbia confirm our foreign policy
“My visits to neighbouring countries, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Türkiye, then to the United Nations and Serbia, have made it even clearer that our foreign policy vector has no alternative,” Georgia’s President Mikheil Kavelashvili stated during his address at the Conference of Ambassadors 2025.
The President called upon Georgian diplomats to spare no effort in developing trade and transit links.
“Our common goal is for Georgia to further consolidate its status as the principal regional hub of the South Caucasus. At the same time, we must maximally facilitate the economic and peaceful integration of broader geographical spaces in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
I call upon each of you to spare no effort in further developing trade and transit links. This will not only promote global connectivity but will also restore to Georgia its historical function as a crossroads of civilisations.
Georgia is not merely one of the principal nodes of the Middle Corridor but also a unique space for civilisational dialogue, where diverse cultures have coexisted peacefully for centuries,” Mikheil Kavelashvili stated.
