President Kavelashvili names peace, order, stability as fundamental for development, economic growth, social welfare

“I would like to extend my greetings to our dear police officers and all professionals and heroes employed in this system whose tireless work, vigilance and dedication ensure the guaranteed safe future for us and our children,” said President Mikheil Kavelashvili addressing solemn activity on the occasion of Police Day observed on May 31 in Georgia.

According to Mikheil Kavelashvili, today is a symbolic emphasis that the protection of citizens’ safety and the establishment of order in the country stands on the tireless work of each police officer, which is of crucial importance for the stability and development of the country.

“Peace, public order and stability have fundamental significance for development, economic growth, and social welfare. That is why our country’s ill-wishers target to undermine our order, stability and statehood. I am confident that with your tireless work and dedication, similar attempts will be as futile as they were before,” he concluded.
