President Kavelashvili holds farewell meeting with Iranian Ambassador

The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia, Mahmoud Adib.

At the meeting, Mikheil Kavelashvili expressed his gratitude to the diplomat for strengthening the relationship between the two countries, which share a rich history, based on mutual respect. He also appreciated his steadfast and unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The President wished Mahmoud Adib success in his future diplomatic endeavours and noted that he is confident that, with the active engagement of the new ambassador, Georgia-Iran relations will continue to develop dynamically.

The meeting was held at the Presidential Palace.
