President Kavelashvili celebrates 106th anniversary of the National Defence Academy and awards graduates
“I congratulated the personnel, cadets and students of the National Defence Academy on its 106th anniversary and awarded diplomas to the graduates in a formal ceremony,” President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, shared on his social media.
The President added that, during the event, together with the Minister of Defence and the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, a Museum of Occupation was inaugurated in the Academy’s library.
“Today, the graduates of the Academy join the ranks of those illustrious Georgian officers whose courage, patriotism, and professionalism have safeguarded our nation’s honour and security, past, present, and future.
I thank the Ministry of Defence and every member of the staff for their exemplary dedication. The loyalty and selfless love of the Georgian military are the pillars upon which our country’s peaceful present and future are built. Once again, I extend my congratulations to the graduates and wish them success. May God protect our homeland and each of you,” Kavelashvili stated.
