President Kavelashvili attends premiere of Prometheus Bound at Rustaveli Theatre

Georgia’s President Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, attended the debut performance of “Prometheus Bound” at the Rustaveli Theatre.

The President expressed his gratitude to Robert Sturua and the Rustaveli Theatre ensemble for delivering such a remarkable production, emphasising that it is a profound pleasure to witness the work of an exceptional and visionary director.

“It is a great honour to see the work of our outstanding and inventive director, who continually offers us new interpretations and encourages reflection on the meaning and destiny of humanity, as well as of individuals.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Robiko Sturua and the Rustaveli Theatre troupe for bringing this extraordinary performance to life,” said Mikheil Kavelashvili.

The première of “Prometheus Bound” at the Rustaveli National Theatre took place in 2024.
