Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili awarded Archil Tatunashvili with Order of Honor after his death, for the special citizenship and personal bravery

According to the Press Service of the Presidential Administration, Giorgi Margvelashvili handed over the award to the members of Archil Tatunashvili’s family. The ceremony was held at Presidential Palace today.

Giorgi Margvelashvili received detailed information from Archil Tutunashvili’s family about the investigation and expertise. The talks also focused on law suit which is planned to be filed to the European Court of Human Rights against Russia.

President believes that Georgia should file an inter-state appeal against the European Court of Human Rights regarding Archil Tatunashvili’s murder case.
