Police officer apprehended for bribe-taking

An employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), police officer Veriko Imerlishvili has been detained for taking a bribe of a large amount.

As MIA informed Georgian First Channel, an investigation is in progress on the fact of the bribery committed in large quantities, which envisages from 7 to 11 years of imprisonment.
