Police found missing 17-year-old girl

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of intensive operative-searching activities, police officers of Kakheti Police Department found a 17-year-old resident of Lambalo village (Sagarejo district) in the village of Jandara (Marneuli municipality).

According to the Ministry, the juvenile’s health is not in danger.

According to the MIA, the psychologist is working with her for the time being and the juvenile will be questioned in the presence of the psychologist and attorney.

“After the notification of a crime was received, law enforcement authorities immediately launched an investigation in accordance with article 143, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies an unlawful restriction of the liberty of a minor. The investigation into the case is ongoing”, – Statement of MIA reads.
