Georgia’s place is in the European Union. Poland supports Georgia on its path to European integration, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a briefing after the meeting with Georgian PM.
“Poland still supports and will support Georgia’s EU integration. We believe that each country has the right to choose its path. Therefore, I would like to note that Georgia’s place is in the European Union.
I want to thank Mr Prime Minister for an honest conversation on economic cooperation. Poland, Ukraine, Georgia are in a difficult situation. We all want to live in peace, in peaceful countries. Unfortunately, the Kremlin does not understand this so far. We appreciate and respect Georgia’s choice. We want to support Georgia on this path. Our support and cooperation will contribute to the development of our countries. We hope that we will continue this cooperation with our friend Ukraine as well”, Polish PM said.
Georgian and Polish Prime Ministers held a meeting in Batumi on Thursday.
