“When it comes to the Russian Federation, our primary political objective is the peaceful resolution of the conflict, the prerequisite for which is de-occupation,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a press briefing at the Government Administration.

The head of government noted that this represents the government’s clear political line and message.

According to the Prime Minister’s assessment, xenophobia is a phenomenon completely foreign to Georgian culture, and claims made by non-existent individuals alleging that Russian tourists are being insulted in Georgia are entirely artificial.

“What are we doing to ensure our enemies fail to achieve their goal? In this regard, cautioning the public about all of this is crucial. The public must be properly informed about what our country’s ill-wishers want and why a Russophobic campaign has been unleashed in Georgia, which is absolutely artificial.

Russophobia, and xenophobia in general, is a phenomenon completely alien to Georgian culture. Consequently, all of this is entirely artificial, the result of artificial coordination and management. Everything is managed from outside the country under the umbrella of the so-called Deep State. Videos are circulating in which non-existent individuals discuss non-existent occurrences, claiming Russian tourists are insulted in Georgia, which is a plain lie. Yet we have witnessed the coordination; all of this was coordinated from abroad and supported from within the country,” stated the Prime Minister.
