PM: We are proud Georgia is one of 1st Christian countries in the world; We do everything to protect our religion

“We are proud that Georgia is one of the first Christian countries in the world, and therefore we give special importance to Christianity,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in an interview with the Swiss weekly magazine Die Weltwoche.

According to the Prime Minister, protecting Christianity is part of Georgia’s history.

“We are doing everything to protect our religion. Protecting Christianity and religion is part of our history,” the Prime Minister stated.

The interview was conducted by the magazine’s editor-in-chief and owner, Roger Köppel.
