PM vows to do his best to protect values, national and state interests

“I, as a representative of the government, vow to do my best for the protection of our values, state and national interests,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral, where he congratulated the citizens on Family Purity Day.

According to the PM, the “exciting day, which united the country” is for the protection of national identity, motherland, language and faith.

Irakli Kobakhidze remarked that everyone is responsible for protecting the country’s identity since some forces attempt to split the society.

“We are a Christian country, and the main value of Christianity is love among people. Some forces artificially attempt to replace love with hatred. We should do our best for our country, and citizens unite about love. Everyone should care about unity. Love can help us unify with Abkhazian and Ossetian brothers and sisters.

Long live our united Georgia, unified about love among people. As the government representative, I vow to do my best to protect our values, state and national interests,” he said.
