PM to highlight key projects, such as Anaklia Port and Middle Corridor, at ADSW summit
“At the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit, the Prime Minister of Georgia will discuss several vital projects, including Anaklia Port, connectivity, and the Middle Corridor, initiatives of great importance for our nation,” stated Levan Zhorzholiani, Chief of Staff to the Government of Georgia, speaking to journalists in the United Arab Emirates.
As Zhorzholiani pointed out, Georgia is abundantly endowed with water, solar, and wind energy resources. Consequently, the development of energy and renewable energy production remains a top priority.
“During the ADSW summit, the Prime Minister will have the opportunity to deliver a speech as part of a leaders’ dialogue. He will emphasise key projects, such as Anaklia Port, as well as connectivity and the Middle Corridor, which are crucial for Georgia’s future, and will also address the energy sector.
Our country’s rich natural resources in water, solar, and wind energy underpin our focus on energy development and renewable energy production. Additionally, the Prime Minister will discuss the expansion of Georgia’s transit capacity, including investments in highways and railways, as well as the submarine cable project, a priority initiative directly linked to our energy independence and growth,” Levan Zhorzholiani explained.
