“These individuals, who are opposition in name only, possess no capacity whatsoever, neither to unite nor to achieve success,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a press briefing.

According to Kobakhidze, the opposition represents a network of foreign agents that has been severely weakened.

“We made this clear even before their alliance was formed. These individuals, formally referred to as the opposition, have no capacity to unite, nor any prospect of success. They are a network of foreign agents that has been severely weakened and can no longer prove their worth to their handlers.

As a consequence, they have turned on one another, resorting to mutual insults and infighting. This is thoroughly positive for the revitalisation of the Georgian democratic system,” the Prime Minister declared.
