PM sees Georgia’s future in EU

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated that peace and stability are crucial to the country’s prosperity.

During a joint news conference with the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Varhelyi, the Prime Minister emphasized Georgia advanced in all fields despite the hurdles posed by the pandemic.

The economy grew by double digits, and over 100,000 new jobs were created in the previous nine months. Tourism, exports, industry, and the business sector have all recovered.

“Georgia has had consistent peace and stability for the first time since regaining independence. We accomplished this by rational policy and principality after gaining power. It is in our people’s and the country’s best interests to enjoy a moment of peace, stability, and growth. Our future is in the European Union. We believe in it and will work together to make it a reality,” Garibashvili said.
