“It is their problem if the radical opposition and its supporters do not trust the Central Election Commission (CEC), people trust the CEC,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the PM, the radical opposition aims to discredit the CEC and elections.
“We have seen such campaigns in the past that have never been successful. The CEC enjoys high trust in people, Georgian society and public polls confirm that,” he said, pledging to hold 2024 parliamentary elections fairly, demonstrating a strong trust.
