PM: People with troubled business and political histories tarnish image of Dubai’s miraculous rise architects
“People with challenging business and political backgrounds are trying to tarnish the reputation of the company responsible for creating Dubai’s miraculous rise,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated during an interpellation in Parliament.
Commenting on Arab investment, Kobakhidze affirmed that the company maintains an excellent reputation worldwide.
“Emaar and Eagle Hills are the so-called architects of the Dubai miracle. It is through their projects that Dubai’s tourist appeal and overall economic strength have grown exponentially. Such a distinguished company is now being tarnished by individuals with problematic backgrounds, including those with questionable business and political histories. The public is likely well aware of this. When you walk through Dubai’s city centre, you will see that this company has built approximately 80 per cent of the buildings, including the iconic, world’s tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa. Its international standing is clear. Yet, even here, opponents attempt to discredit the reputations of Eagle Hills and Emaar,” Kobakhidze explained.
