PM optimistically waiting for candidate status decision given priority implementation
“I don’t want to get ahead of events and make any announcements, but given what we’ve done and the global geopolitical environment, I’m looking forward to the decision on November 8, and then on December,” said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili in Brussels following his address to Global Gateway Forum.
According to the Prime Minister, as far as possible, Georgia fulfilled the EU recommendations in the shortest possible time.
“We have responded to all twelve recommendations and fulfilled what was possible in the shortest possible time. This process was very transparent, [and] open. Unfortunately, it must be said that too many obstacles, sabotages, and artificial barriers were stemming from the opposition, but in the end, we are in this situation today,” he continued
