Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili met Paddy Padmanathan, President and General Director of ACWA Power company in Davos, Switzerland.

Investment opportunities and potential partnership projects in the energy sector were discussed at the meeting.

The Prime Minister invited the company’s representatives to Georgia to get to know the business environment and resources in the country better.

ACWA Power is a leading private developer of electricity generation, which is also developing the world’s first large-scale green hydrogen project. The head office of the company is located in Saudi Arabia.

The company employs more than 3,500 people and has a portfolio of assets with an investment value of more than USD 75 billion in 13 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Southeast Asia.
