PM Kobakhidze meets China Eastern Airlines Vice President
Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, met He Xiaoqun, Vice President of China Eastern Airlines.
According to the government administration, the meeting once again underscored the significance of launching regular direct flights between Tbilisi and Shanghai in promoting tourism, strengthening people-to-people ties, and expanding business cooperation between the two countries.
“The Head of Government noted that the Government of Georgia attaches great importance to further deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and political relations with China and stands ready to facilitate enhanced cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
The discussion also focused on the tangible outcomes of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Georgia and China. It was noted that the growing cooperation in tourism, aviation, trade and investment clearly demonstrates the strength and effectiveness of bilateral relations,” the press statement reads.
The meeting was attended by Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
