PM Kobakhidze: EU is facing significant challenges, including in migration; let’s hope for turnaround in future

“Today, the European Union is confronting serious difficulties, particularly in the realm of migration. We must remain hopeful that, in time, circumstances will improve and the Union will continue to progress in the right direction,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during today’s briefing.

As the Head of Government pointed out, in reality, it is the European bureaucracy itself that has brought the European Union to this point, most notably through its entirely unjustified migration policies, which have created profound problems for the EU and its member states.

“Let us watch and see how matters unfold. Today, the European Union is facing significant challenges, including migration. We must remain optimistic that, in the future, all of this will change for the better, and that the Union will continue to develop along a positive path,” added Irakli Kobakhidze.
