PM introduces SSSG's new head to staff

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze presented the new head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG), Mamuka Mdinaradze, to the staff.

The PM accentuated Mamuka Mdinaradze’s high professionalism and thanked former head Anri Okhanashvili for his activities.

“Mamuka Mdinaradze has been a distinguished leader of our team for years. He has carried out successful activities in various directions, ensuring progress, development and security. He has a successful background by serving in law enforcement agencies and has experience in this field that will assist him in successfully heading this service,” he said.

Mamuka Mdinaradze extended gratitude to the government and parliament for their trust, and focused on the service’s role in effectively addressing challenges facing the country.

“Our country is successfully attempting to consolidate its place on the world map. If this service is not effective, these attempts may be futile. What Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Kobakhidze and others, our government and we all together are doing requires enhancement and this service has a key role. I will count on each of you in this process,” Mdinaradze said.
