PM introduces Revaz Sokhadze as new Minister of Infrastructure

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze introduced Revaz Sokhadze to the ministry’s staff as the new Infrastructure Minister.

“The mission of the Infrastructure Ministry is crucial—developing infrastructure drives the transformation of our country. Significant progress has already been made,” Kobakhidze stated, commending former minister Irakli Karseladze for his contributions.

The Prime Minister highlighted Sokhadze’s qualifications, expressing confidence in his ability to lead effectively.

“Mr Revaz has served as the single-mandate MP for Samgori district, where he successfully implemented numerous projects. His enthusiasm for serving the country sets a strong example. I am convinced he will continue the important work we’ve started in the Infrastructure Ministry. We face ambitious goals and large-scale projects that require a strong, professional, and dedicated leader. Mr Revaz embodies those qualities, and I wish him every success in his new role,” Kobakhidze said.

Revaz Sokhadze acknowledged the importance of teamwork and expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s trust.

Revaz Sokhadze was appointed as the new Infrastructure Minister on April 24, succeeding Irakli Karseladze.
