PM: I warn violent groups' members of radical opposition that they will face severe legal consequences for violence

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, on Sunday, said, there is “unmistakable information that violent youth groups organized by the radical opposition and financed from abroad are planning violent actions against the Parliament and the police tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.”

The PM warned “every member of the violent groups of the radical opposition that everyone will face severe legal consequences for violence.”

“At the same time, I would like to ask law enforcement officers to show maximum patience and act with a higher European standard when responding to violence and insults.

I would like to thank the law enforcement officers once again for the fact that, despite the large scale and completely unacceptable level of violence, during the past few weeks, they acted with higher standards than the American and European standards”, said Irakli Kobakhidze.
