PM congratulates ethnic Azerbaijani fellow citizens on Novruz Bayramı

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated Azerbaijani fellow citizens on the Novruz Bayramı celebration in Marneuli.

The PM wished Azerbaijani ethnic minorities peace and prosperity.

“Novruz Bayramı is a celebration of renewal and goodness. We are proud of the centuries-old cohabitation and friendship that binds us, Christians and Muslims, Georgians and Azerbaijanis. This is a truly valuable relationship and friendship. We have been shaping the future of our country together for many years.

This history continues today and this is a wonderful tradition that we must pass on to our children and future generations. I would like to congratulate you once again on Novruz Bayramı and wish you all the best, peace and prosperity,” stated Irakli Kobakhidze.

President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani also addressed the locals.

Public Defender Levan Ioseliani, Kvemo Kartli Governor Giorgi Dokhturishvili and executive authorities participated in festive activities.
