PM congratulates citizens on State Flag Day

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili congratulated citizens on State Flag Day.

The PM said in his message that the flag of Georgia unites the country, its history and the values, which the Georgian people had protected for centuries. The state flag is a national symbol, he said.

“The state flag, the expression of our identity, national spirit and unique culture, preserves history, which is valuable for every citizen. Our flag unites the history of our country and people, those values which we had been protecting for centuries and will protect forever,” the PM said.

The Head of the government, with special respect, congratulated Georgian soldiers saying the “country’s dignity and bright future” stands on their “merits.”
