PM chairs Investors Council meeting

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili chaired the meeting of the Investors Council on Wednesday. The meeting’s participants discussed plans for 2023-2024 and finalized projects.

The conversation touched on large economic projects, on which the Government’s economic team actively works at the PM’s instruction.
Initiatives for the development of a green economy, the mining industry’s opportunities and challenges, the internationalization of Georgia’s education system, topics pertaining to cooperation within the scope of the Black Sea Platform, and the directions of the development of the Middle Corridor Transit Route were reviewed at the meeting.

The discussed topics also included the Investors Council’s engagement in the ongoing reforms on the path to European integration.

The members of the Investors Council expressed commitment to continue to support every step or reform aimed to bolster Georgia’s EU integration and the successful implementation of the Association Agreement.
